These Warranty Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to all desktops sold by DreamPC ("Seller") to
customers ("Buyer"). By purchasing from DreamPC, you agree to the following:
1. Warranty Coverage
1.1 1-Year Basic Warranty (Free)
Covers hardware defects caused by manufacturer faults for a period of 12 months from the date of
purchase.
Includes labour for diagnosing and replacing defective components.
1.2 3-Year Extended Warranty (Paid)
Covers hardware defects as outlined in the Basic Warranty, extended to 36 months from the date of
purchase.
Includes priority service for repairs and replacements.
This warranty is available as an optional top-up at the time of purchase.
1.3 Exclusions (Applicable to Both Warranties)
- Physical damage, including but not limited to drops, spills, improper handling, or accidents.
- Damage caused by modifications, overclocking, improper installation, or third-party repairs.
- Damage resulting from improper ventilation, power surges, or environmental conditions (e.g., excessive
dust or moisture).
- Software-related issues, including operating system corruption, virus infections, or driver
conflicts.
- Wear-and-tear components such as fans, thermal paste, and external peripherals.
2. Warranty Claim Process
2.1 Reporting a Claim
The Buyer must notify DreamPC of any defect within the warranty period by contacting hello@dreampc.sg or
calling 8399 4929.
A detailed description of the issue, along with proof of purchase, must be provided.
2.2 Diagnosis and Repair
The Buyer must deliver the PC to one of DreamPC’s service points (Jurong West St 42 or
Kallang). Delivery costs are the responsibility of the Buyer.
DreamPC will diagnose the issue and determine whether it is covered under warranty.
2.3 Replacement of Components
If a hardware component is deemed defective, DreamPC will repair or replace it with the same or equivalent
part.
Replacement parts may be new, refurbished, or equivalent to new in performance.
2.4 Turnaround Time
Repairs will be completed within a reasonable timeframe, subject to parts availability and complexity of
the issue.
3. Limitations of Liability
DreamPC’s liability is limited to the repair or replacement of defective hardware as outlined in these
Terms.
DreamPC is not responsible for:
- Loss of data. Buyers are advised to back up all data before submitting the PC for warranty
service.
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the product.
4. Void Warranty
The warranty will be void under the following circumstances:
- The serial number of the product has been altered, removed, or cannot be verified.
- The PC has been repaired, modified, or tampered with by unauthorised personnel.
- The PC has been used outside its intended purpose or specifications.
5. Additional Terms and Conditions
5.1 Cost Cap on Part Replacements
DreamPC will cover part replacements up to a maximum of 20% of the original purchase price of the PC. For
repairs exceeding this amount, the customer may choose to pay the difference or accept an alternative
resolution.
5.2 Refurbished or Equivalent Parts
DreamPC reserves the right to use refurbished, equivalent, or third-party parts for warranty repairs. The
replacement will meet or exceed the original part's specifications.
5.3 Unavailable or Discontinued Parts
If a defective part is discontinued or unavailable, DreamPC will provide a replacement part of equivalent
functionality or offer a prorated refund based on the depreciated value of the part.
5.4 High-Value Components
High-value components such as GPUs and CPUs are excluded from the extended warranty. These components will
be covered under the manufacturer’s warranty only, which typically extends up to 3 years.
5.5 Labour Costs Beyond Warranty
Labour for diagnosing and replacing parts is free during the period of the warranty. For claims made after
the warranty period, labour costs will be charged at a flat rate.
5.6 Manufacturer’s Warranty Expiration
DreamPC will not cover the cost of replacement parts that are no longer under the manufacturer's warranty.
In such cases, the Buyer may be charged the cost of the replacement part.
6. General Conditions
The warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original Buyer.
Warranty claims must be made within the warranty period. Claims submitted after the period has expired
will not be honoured.
DreamPC reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Updated terms
will not affect active warranties.
